  8. and delivery data. AUTOSEND is a system that automates the EPA's formula for
  9. daily inventory reconciliation of UST inventories. To send in tank measurements
  10. and fuel sales figures, AUTOSEND only requires a touch-tone phone at retail or
  11. commercial accounts. The AUTOSEND software, running on a PC in the
  12. distributor's office, performs inventory reconciliations and produces
  13. prioritized fuel dispatch reports

  15. AUTOSEND also produces easy-to-read graphs of cumulative gross and net gallon
  16. variances -- the kind of reporting that owners of USTs can use to see loss
  17. trends inventory. Other features include pre-built tank charts, tank tilt
  18. compensation, handling of splash blended product (in dispatching), optional
  19. collection of non-fuel sales amounts and competitors' prices, and handling of
  20. pump tests.
